THE STORY OF FIREFLY PHOTOGRAPHY

Hi, I'm Kierstin! I'm pretty new to photography. It all started in 2018 when I started my makeup business. I spent a lot of time working with various photographers as a makeup artist. I was always interested in knowing more about the photography side of the business I was in. In fact, my senior year of high school (2010), I stated that I wanted to be a photographer in my senior exit project. Back then I just had to pick something that slightly interested me, little did I know I'd develope a real interest years later! Things really took off after I had my little rainbow baby in the beginning of 2020. I was absolutely obsessed with taking pictures of him for all different occasions. I had so many ideas and had so much fun doing it! We had photos done professionally several times, and while I was happy with the outcome, I was not always super happy with the experience - or the price! I decided to start learning photography in all of my spare time since becoming a stay at home mom, because I was already doing it and was bored being home all the time! I want to give my clients a very fun and comfortable experience, at an affordable price. I think everyone should be able to get milestone photos they will love forever at an affordable rate. I'm still learning every week and having a lot of fun. Right now I am focusing on sitter sessions (6+ months old) and cake smashes/birthday. Ive been dipping my toes into other areas like maternity photos, newborns, and I've even done a handful of small weddings. I am willing to do sessions other than children, but please know I am still new and learning in those areas. Message me if you're interested and we can discuss what kind of photos you would Iike.
